VIPTAP – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Dear Customers,

VIPTAP always prioritizes our customers. To ensure improved, timely, and efficient customer service, we must follow certain rules and regulations. We kindly request our valued customers to carefully review the following guidelines before purchasing computer products from VIPTAP. Thank you. Warranty Guidelines:

Warranty Guidelines:

The warranties announced at the time of sale are primarily provided by the product manufacturers. The warranty service for sold products is borne by the specific brands main company. Each brand has its unique warranty terms and conditions, which are listed on their official websites. VIPTAP acts as a facilitator for implementing these terms.

Manufacturer-determined warranty terms are as follows:

  • We adhere to the international, national, and Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) warranty policies for each product.
  • Most products imported by VIPTAP are warranted within a short period, and many products are replaced immediately upon receiving complaints.
  • Not all sold products come with a warranty. Only products with a declared warranty period from the main company are covered.
  • Laptop warranties vary between 1 to 3 years depending on the brand and model, but all laptop batteries and adapters have only a 1-year warranty.
  • If a defect is detected in a warranted product after sale, it is repaired, and depending on the product type, it may be replaced immediately.
  • If a specific model is not available for replacement, VIPTAP may offer another equivalent product from its stock.
  • If a specific model is beyond repair and not available in our stock, a better product may be offered with depreciation and price adjustment.
  • If a specific model cannot be repaired or replaced, VIPTAP may refund the purchase amount after depreciation adjustment.
  • VIPTAP is not responsible for any software or data loss during product use or service. Data recovery or software reinstallation is not covered by VIPTAP.
  • The return time for products under warranty after service is not fixed and may range from 5-7 days to 35-40 days or more, depending on the availability of necessary parts, which may need to be specially imported.
  • Most warranty products are not repaired but have the faulty part replaced, often imported from abroad.
  • The computer setup and customized operating system provided at the time of sale are not covered under warranty.
  • Lifetime warranty implies coverage as long as the product is available in the market.
  • VIPTAP may charge for services outside the warranty scope, with customer consent.
  • For service warranty, any required parts must be procured by the customer or arranged through VIPTAP with advance payment.
  • VIPTAP is not liable for issues arising from free software or hardware tuning provided during or after the warranty period.

  • Warranty is void for damages caused by careless use, such as water damage, breakage, burns, impact, deep scratches, etc.
  • Products with partially or completely removed or damaged serial numbers or stickers are not covered under warranty.
  • Motherboards, graphics cards, and RAM with fungus, rust, or deep damage are not covered under warranty.
